Obituary of Sara Ann Haney

Sara Ann Haney, 44, of Fruitland, Idaho died September 24th, 2022 at St. Al's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She was born March 5th, 1978 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho to Darwin N. Haney and Kathy C. (Foruria) Haney. Sara was the eldest child, then her brother Neal was born and later their sister Alison. Sara was a conscientious big sister who enjoyed sharing her love of music, books and movies with them. She was a kind, caring and loving woman who always wanted to help others. When Sara was five years old, she and Mardine Wilson were in kindergarten together and were friends. However, it wasn't until high school that the friendship turned to sisters of the heart, sisters by choice. When Mardine married Jared Olsen she gained a new brother, then a nephew, McKay. Later four nieces were added, Emma, Lora, Lydia and Brenna. After working at the Wal-Mart for a year, Sara met another great friend, Bettsy Wilson. Bettsy had a son Riley who Sara used to babysit. Soon Bettsy and Riley were also a part of our family and Sara had a new sister and nephew. When Bettsy and Steve Unger married, Sara again, had another brother to go with her sister and nephew. Later another nephew Kayson and niece Presley were added. Sara was pleased again to add yet another new brother when her sister married Daniel Beckstead, because she saw they loved each other. Sara and her brother Neal had always been close and with their sister far away, they talked more and shared more ideas, both loving Star Wars and the Marvel Universe. Sara loved her work with the girls and ladies in the Miss Western Idaho Pageant. Many friendships were made and kept. Sara took pride in providing excellent work for her photo customers. She was very particular on how to build canvas pictures, loving to get it just right for them. She worked 26 years for the Wal-Mart store in Ontario, Oregon. Her creativity, knowledge and skill were an asset to the store. Sara was very ill and for 29 days she fought valiantly to overcome every obstacle that was placed upon her. She believed her Heavenly Father loved her and gave her many blessings and miracles. The amount of good wishes, prayers and concern for her on her sister's webpage was a surprise to her. She appreciated every person who prayed for her recovery. Unfortunately, her kidneys suddenly failed, and the burden was too great for her liver. We would also like to thank all her friends who cared, prayed and donated on her behalf. Service Details.
