Obituary of Margaret Wills White

Margaret "Margie" Wills White, age 74, of Fruitland, died peacefully June 4, 2022, in Fruitland.

Margie retired after working 35 years with the State of Florida where she worked to provide services for mentally challenged youth and adults. She spoke often about many of those she came to love through her work, clients and co-workers alike.

Margie visited Idaho with her husband, Lee, who she married in 2013, and they moved there shortly thereafter. She loved the mountain air and spent her retirement traveling with Lee and family, and volunteered with the VFW Auxiliary. Margie loved the Florida State Seminoles and you would often see her in Garnet and Gold. She enjoyed traveling to Tallahassee to attend FSU football games as often as possible.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Green, step-daughters, Darcy White and Natalie Hebison, sisters Dorothy Bradley and Wilma Selph, grandchildren: Justin White (Amanda) of Cocoa Beach, FL; Dillan White (Melany) of Columbia, MO; Jalayne Levine of Tallahassee, FL; Melissa Kochanowsky of Campton, KY; Jillian Levine (USN) of Jacksonville, FL; and  Taryn Ockerman (Greg) of Orcas Island, WA, great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Madison, Bristol, Westin, William, Willow, and Baby Bean, and her well-loved dog, Lily. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leeman White (May 3, 2020), and parents, Richard and Willie Wills.

At Margie's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. We ask instead, that you please share a favorite memory and/or picture here. We have many, but there could never be enough. Service Details.
