Obituary of Alma Berreth

Alma Berreth was born May 30, 1922 in Artas, South Dakota to Fred and Emma (Neumiller) Heiser. That is where she grew up and attended school. Alma married Alfred Berreth on March 14, 1943. They had two boys, Richard and Ronald. They farmed in the Artas area and then moved to the Black Hills in South Dakota where her husband worked in the gold mines. In 1956 they moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they established a cleaning service. They enjoyed singing in area churches and rest homes. Alfred passed away in March of 2014. Alma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and son, Ronald. Alma is survived by her son, Richard and wife, Melvena; grandsons, Roger Berreth and Reggie (Kathryn) Russell; granddaughter, Suzanne (Aaron) Smith; seven great grandchildren, Danielle (Tyler) Genovese, Jarod and Alexa Smith, Zachary and Alison Berreth, Haley and Alena Russell.
