Obituary of Martha Kay Fisher

Martha Kay Fisher, 66, of New Plymouth passed away March 1, 2022 in Meridian, Idaho surrounded in love by her family. Martha was born in Nyssa, OR to Dean and Ruby Quada. She was a younger sister to Frances Quada, Jerry Quada, and Diane Casner. Martha was a part of the Payette High School class of 1974. Martha married her husband, Steve, on August 15, 1985 and for 36 years they raised their children and shared their love of spending time outdoors camping and fishing. She never missed a sporting event or band concert and even coached and worked at the school so she could be involved with her kids. Her love of kids led her to work for the New Plymouth School District and WICAP in Payette. Martha was also a grandmother and was so thankful to be able to be close to each of her grandkids and help care for them while they were young. Each of her grandkids are left with fond memories of grandma's hugs and "I love you's" and will think of her every time they hear "You are My Sunshine." Martha and Steve were members of St. John's United Church of Christ in Payette, Idaho where she spent time with dear friends in the Quilting group there.
