Obituary of Norma Faye Barton

Norma Faye Barton went to meet God and dance with Dad in Heaven, Thursday, January 13, 2022, age 84. Norma was born November 26, 1937 in Butler, Missouri, she graduated from Huntington High School in 1955. She met her husband Leonard W. Barton through a friend who was in the Army 1952-53; they were married October 15, 1955 in Huntington, Oregon and lived there together for 59 years. She was the payroll secretary for OPC/Ash Grove Cement for 30 years retiring in 1998. She was a friend to many and was always there to lend a helping hand in times of need. She was well known for her delicious goodies she would make for everyone. Mainly her peanut brittle. She loved collecting recipes, volunteering at the Huntington Museum and dancing and singing. She hummed to the music we played at her bedside until she joined her friends and family in heaven. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. Mom, we will meet again someday soon. Survivors include her brother and wife, Raymond and Sandy Cooper of Baker City, Oregon; her sons and their wives, Leonard Michael and Gayle Barton of Vale, Oregon and Steven Lee and LeAnn Barton of Mulino, Oregon; her daughter and husband, Machelle Marie and Bradley Craig of Billings, Montana; grandchildren, Kevin, Krista, Michael, Lenny, and Matthew Barton, Lacey and Danny Perkins, Tonya and Jacob Hendrickson, Riley McCauley and Bailley Craig; her great grandchildren Mason Holten, Olivia McCauley, Ryder and Xander Perkins; and many nephews and nieces.
