Obituary of Jessica Lynne Ross

Jessica Lynne (Birch) Ross passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 after an unfortunate car accident at the age of 47 along with her daughter Janice (Bickmore) Reay “Sissy” (26) near Burley, Idaho (husband Andrew Reay). 

    She was born in Pocatello, Idaho February 2, 1976 to Bruce H Birch and Ginger Rae (Cox) Birch.  She was sealed to her eternal companion, Christopher Chad Ross, on May 29, 2004 in the Bountiful, Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 

    Jessica graduated high school from Payette High School.  She proceeded to attend BYU-Idaho and Boise State University.  One of her greatest desires has always been to help people in need.  She was accepted into the nursing program at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon in 2003.  She completed her RN degree in 2004.

    Jessica loved helping others.  It did not matter if her chronic pain was bad on any given day, if she knew someone was grieving or in need, she would drop everything, jump up and off she went.  Jessica had her own online business and mobile boutique business Bewitching Betty’s Boutique.  One of those products was Red Aspen.  Lashes, Dashes and Make-up.  The love and friendships she developed in just over a year’s time from there will forever be an imprint on the Ross House.  Jessica’s only wish in life was to be a mother.  She used to tell everyone close to her she would have 13 children.  Not including the 3 (Lane, Lucas, and Tempe) not meant for this world, she had exactly that - 13 children.  The joy of grandchildren continued to brighten her world even more.  Every time she went to the store or looked online - she was always looking for something for her children or her grandbabies. She would constantly be making things with her crafty hands to show her love and thoughts.  Music was a source of peace in Jessica’s and her family’s life and continues to be.  Singing to her children was one of her joys in life.  Jessica’s impact on people and this world has forever left its mark.  

    Jessica is survived by her husband, Chad Ross, her children Zakary Ross (Ashley) - Utah, Jeremy Ross (Ashley) - Idaho, Celia (Ross) Parks (Josh) - Arizona, Miles Ross - Utah, Kimberly Bickmore - Idaho, Gracie Ross - Idaho, Wren Watson - Utah, Levi Ross - Idaho, Ellie Ross - Idaho, Maxson Ross - Idaho, Addie Ross - Idaho and Caleb Ross - Idaho; her grandchildren Calvin (Andrew and Janice), Emery and Melody (Celia and Josh) and Emily and Sage (Jeremy and Ashley); her parents Bruce H. Birch and Ginger Birch - Idaho; her siblings Lee Birch (Chanthy) - Idaho, Adam Birch (JaNae) - Idaho and Kara Gibbons (Shawn) - Idaho;  Uncle Byard Cox, Uncle Harrison Cox, Aunt Pauline Loosle, Aunt Cheryl Simmons and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. 

    Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Ruth Birch (Bruce), Clinton and Norma Cox (Ginger), her uncles Barry Birch, Conrad Cox, Roger Cox, Gary Cox and her Aunt Bonnie Clayton.
