William Edward Corless (Eddie)

William Edward Corless (Eddie), age 70, of Payette passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 26th, 2023 in Payette, Idaho. A celebration of life and memorial is planned for March 18th, 2023 at 2 pm at Mackey’s in Ontario, Oregon.

Eddie was born in Boise, Idaho on February 6th, 1953 to William Henry Corless and Elizabeth Ann Jones. Eddie was the oldest of five children, he and his siblings were adopted by Jud Jones when his mother remarried and his family moved to Fruitland, Idaho.

In 1974 Eddie enlisted in the United States Army, he served for 3 years of active duty. After his time in the Army he served in the Oregon and Idaho National Guard for fourteen years.

Eddie married Laura (Grove) Corless on December 31, 1980. Together they raised their blended family and eventually settled in Fruitland, Idaho. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed working on motor vehicles.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Corless, Jud Jones, Elizabeth Ann Post/Jones; his brother Randy Jones; and his granddaughter McKenna Corless. He is lovingly survived by his wife Laura (Grove) Corless; his children Amanda (Jerry) Kenyon, Shawn (Angie) Grove, Micheal Corless, and Mick (Tanner) Corless, brother David Jones, sisters Cindy Chavatipon and Teresa Howington; his grandchildren Joshua, Alexandra, Bethany, Jaelen, Landon, Lincoln, Jamison, Kadence, William, Henry, and Waylon; and his four great grandchildren Noah, Amelia, Aurora, and Abigail
