Friends and Family:

It is both with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we have gathered her today,

Evelyn Mae Vanderpool joined her husband

Marvin Lee Vanderpool in heaven on October 28th, 2023.

Our mother was born in Parma, Idaho on April 7, 1937, to Ira Wilburn Edison and Arena Belle Edison. Our Mother was the 2nd youngest of 7 siblings. She lived and was raised in Apple Valley near Nyssa, Oregon. She was a lover of music and at a young age learned how to play the accordion. She played alongside her siblings in music festivals in Weiser, Idaho with her brothers who played the guitar and sisters who sang and played the organ and piano.

Later in her life she married and had three children: Leon D. French, Geraldine A.

French (Benoit) and Leona M. Vanderpool.

She is the grandmother of 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren and one more due in Dec/Jan. She was elated and full of joy when she found out she was going to have another great grandchild and could not wait for it to come into this world, and we will hold her new grandson high in her honor.

Our Mother will forever and always be in our hearts every day for the rest of our lives, she brought great joy, strength and happiness to many and we are all so grateful for her loving nature and kindness that she gave with unconditional love always.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother u will always be

We Love u with every breath we take and every beat of our hearts.
