Obituary of Christopher Clinton Collins

On January 2nd, 2024 Christopher Clinton Collins passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Chris was born on January 1st, 1957 in Caldwell, ID. Chris worked as a truck driver for various places and ended his career at Pacific Steel and Recycling in Nampa, ID in 2013. Chris was also the Mayor of Notus and was honored to serve the community and represent the town during his time. Chris’s passion in life was riding motorcycles with his wife, Sandy, traveling to many different places throughout the years, and if he wasn’t on a motorcycle, he was fixing old cars in his garage or spending time with his closest family and friends. Chris is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Collins, his daughter, Chrisandra (Ken) Morgan, his daughter-in-law Michelle (Jason) Collins, his 5 grandchildren, Rachelle (Devin) Krasowski, Alex (Sabrina) Morgan, Cory (Sammy) Morgan, Braedan (Sydnee) Collins, and Chloe (Carter) Horan, 8 great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters Clifton (Janice) Collins, Edna Ann (Bob) Portenier, Jimmy (Carol) Collins, Mike (Glenda) Collins, Geneva Riley, 6 sister-in-laws, 1 brother-in-law, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Father Floyd Collins, mother Cora Collins, son Jason Collins, brother Floyd Collins (Punk), two brother in-laws Bob Portenier and Donnie Riley, one sister in-law Berva Ballou, his great grandson Jayce Morgan, and numerous other family members.
