Obituary of Lila Fae Taylor

   Lila Fae Taylor, 93, of Fruitland, ID, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Ontario, OR. 

  She was born January 3, 1931 to Louis B and Lydia Isbell in Lakeview, TX. Lila attended schools in New Mexico and Fruitland.  She married the love of her life Doyle Taylor on August 17, 1948 in Winnemucca, NV. They celebrated 73 yrs. of marriage prior to Doyle’s death.
  Lila was an active member of the Church of Christ, volunteered 6 years for Head Start and 6 years for Heart N Home Hospice.
  She was an avid walker, loved music, cooking, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. She was helpful to anyone in need, kind, generous, and a loyal friend to many.
  Lila is s survived by her daughters: Deb Taylor, Sheryl Mattausch (Barry), Janet Duranso (John), her sister in-law Donna Smith, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
  She is preceded in death by her husband Doyle, a daughter Teresa Adams, her parents, 3 sisters  and 1 brother.
